- [S119] Red Bank Register, 5-26-1886.
On Saturday morning, May 15th, Garret B. Conover died at his residence near Englishtown from a complication of disorders. He came of a prolific Revolutionary stock, and his relatives in this
county are very numerous. His death occurred on the farm where he had lived all his life. He had been an Elder in the Tennent church for a great many years, and his funeral was larger than that of any other person who had ever been buried from that church, with the single exception of that of the Rev. Mr. Cobb. Mr. Conover was about 75 years
of age. He leaves a wife and four children.
