Mrs. Edith Gant, widow of Thomas Gant, died suddenly at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Theodore Brocklebank, near Adelphia last week. Mrs. Gant was 69 years old and her death was due to cerebral hemorrhage. She had been picking blackberries and after a while came back to the house and complained of feeling sick. She lay down and died in a few minutes. Besides the daughter with whom she died she leaves a son, Frank Gant of Lower Squankum.
